With a proud history spanning over 60 years, Hill’s Transplants began as a small market garden founded by John and Megan Hill, supplying fresh produce to local grocery stores. Recognizing an emerging opportunity, John became one of the first in Australia to grow vegetable seedlings commercially — laying the foundation for what would become the company’s core business.
Today, Hill’s Transplants is a three-generation family business, led by General Manager Stephen Hill and his sons Sam and Josh, each managing distinct areas of the operation. What started as a humble farm has grown into a diverse, industry-leading enterprise comprising four key divisions:
Through innovation, dedication, and a commitment to excellence, Hill’s Transplants continues to evolve — all while staying true to its family roots.
